Pamela Weintraub started to write for discover in 1980 she is now the Senior editor of Discover, she’s a consulting editor for Psychology Today and also worked at Omni Magazine.

Pamela Weintraub thought that the book would take her two years to write but with all the twist and turn surrounding the politics of Lyme disease and other tick-borne diseases a massive amount of researches was in order has an investigator and a health reporter it as taken her six years to complete the book and her research.
